Timeline is a spreadsheet software that introduces built-in discrete time as the third dimension of the spreadsheet. Cells can hold their history and reference and aggregate their historical values directly within their formulas. This simple extension allows you to build complex multi-dimensional, time-aware models and simulations that evolve over time.
Timeline introduces new language constructs to directly integrate the built-in time into the spreadsheet paradigm. These include time-aware cells, cell ranges, generalisation of ranges to time ranges, essential set of new, built-in functions that work with time, and many more.
